Wow.  The 5 of you reading this can attribute this entry to a little old school connection...Wuz up Tommy Wang!  Crazy how people in your life can come and go but they're still your peeps.  I went out to L.A. and saw a girl I dated my freshman year in college.  She had transfered schools after that and I hadn't seen her in 5 years.  She kept the same IM screen name and we talked a little when I was online.  Then all of the sudden some friends here in The Program (I just feel compelled to properize that) wanted to drive out to L.A. and so off I went.  We had the best time, one of the best weekends I can remember.  Now we talk all the time.  Well, I got a call today from a place I had interviewed for a part-time job and they took someone else.  I happened to be in the middle of meeting someone new (one of my favorite things, and something that has become rare here in the Mont) and she said she'd see if she couldn't get me some work at the noodle place she works at.  I might actually end up washing dishes...I'm not sure if becoming educated is supposed to work like this, I'm sure I'm throwing off someone's statistics.   Oh well, I'm really too busy to care, and I think I can beat up my land lord/roommate if he tries to kick me out, so it's back to work for me, editing to be done.  The Killer's have a sweet album check it out.

Well the fasting is over...I'm very weak fibered I guess.  It was a lot easier when I was 14.  It might have had something to do with the three days of storage shed construction that just happened to coincide with the my lack of nutrition.  But now both are done.  Tommorow we should clean out the garage and fill the shed.  Then we're going to throw a combonation Marti Gras/garage painting/foam party in the garage before we deck it out (the foosball table's on the way).  Until then I have to finish Thomas S. Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions...riveting.

A new semester and a new chance to start writting this blog again, although that priority wasn't enough to make the resolutions list what did is:
Meet people outside of the program or at least outside my Cohort
Don't get behind in my school work like last semester
Get a job
That last one is being strongly facilitated by my alarmingly rapidly decreasing funds.  I just got a verizon bill for 355 dollars, that they can't even explain to me because no one at Verizon seems to have my bill.  What a mess, I argued with them for an hour today and they said they're going to call me back.  My lack of funds has also nessesitated that I stop eating, so I'm currently fasting (hour 25) and plan to for 4 days.  My physician roommate will moitor my medical/physical progress, while I will report on my mental status.  I expect great things.  My PC got a parasite yesterday while I was trying to download a new IM icon so now I'm all Mac.  It doesn't feel too bad.  Not as bad as the fasting.  I did have a good break, 2 weeks in TX to see friends and ROAM, a week back in MT to buy a snowboard and hit the slopes and then 3 days in LA havin a blast.  That one will have to be its own entry.   Until then...

Wow, so it's been a while.  Not a lot going on except re-writing these papers, what a pain.  But that's over now, I even got my next paper done too, so only one more!  The end of the semester has gotten pretty crazy, just writing, editing, and reading, in that order.  So I'll be home for Thanksgiving in one week, hope to see everyone there.  I'll fill everyone in on the now infamous Vegas trip.  Here's a teaser:

Rode a train that just went back and forth without knowing it.

Almost impaled myself on a fence.

Provided medical and moral advice to Strip walkers.

Won some money lost some money.

Attained an Blood Amazing Sauce Content (BASC) of 0.5%

Rode a roller coaster half naked

and

Got yelled at by hotel security

Well, just when things where looking up...it was 17 degrees this morning.  Oh well, it could be worse, like I could have just had my last 2 papers returned to me.  Oh, but they were.  They are apparently in need of being re-written.  My 8th grade writing level just won't cut it here.  So needless to say that sucked.  I was going to go to L.A. to visit some long lost college friends but that's going to have to be called off.  Now if only I could find my cellphone I could call them and let them know, but alas it has been lost in the Montana high country.  On a brighter note, I do have a good idea for my first doc film project, a B and B outside of town that also happens to be a wolf sanctuary.  Might be a good story there, but I can't call them for fear of a freak wolf flu annialating my film idea.  So things are on there way back up, just gotta get over this 5500 word speed bump.
